This support program is designed to assist next-generation creators in the game & motion picture industry. Applicant institution must meet our terms and conditions to qualify.
| Educational Institutions | Educational institutions as stipulated by law, such as universities, technical colleges, high schools, vocational colleges, etc. In additions, any institutions Live2D Inc. acknowledges as an educational institution. (e.g. A proven full-time equivalent educational program specializing in games, video or illustration.) In addition, club or other extracurricular activities centered around games, video or illustration that are conducted under the guidance of faculty of an educational institution as defined above. |

Free Cubism Editor PRO licenses will be leased to eligible educational institutions in accordance with the details of their application.
Educational institutions may use the loaned licenses for their own practice, education and training purposes.
To date, more than 300 educational institutions and programs and approximately 20,000 student users have provided with free Cubism Editor PRO licenses through this program. (*As of July 2023)
As part of the 2-year curriculum, Live2D is used not only in illustration production, but as an element in the planning and organizational process of deciding how to use it and to what desired effect. Through corporate collaborations using Live2D, this production process also gives a tangible purpose to students. In recent years, the number of students aiming to learn about Live2D expression has increased, and through experimentation and trial and error in real projects, their works come to embody the expression "See your creation come to life".
Through the LEAP program, our school is able to provide free Cubism PRO licenses to all students enrolled in the Illustration Department's Comic Illustration courses. The PRO version gives access to the latest tools without restrictions, allowing our students to efficiently acquire the skills they'll need in the field. It also comes with more advanced features than the FREE version which leads to an improvement in the quality of their work.
